Welcome to Vizlib’s February Round-up, your one-stop-shop for all of our latest features, blogs, news, and events.
Great news – all of the updates featured in this round-up are readily-tested and compatible with the most up-to-date version of Qlik Sense, so you can enjoy them right away!
Vizlib Toolbar 2.0 released!
Vizlib Toolbar has received a large overhaul to both improve the performance and allow for a better structure for adding more features in the future.
We now also include a converter from the Vizlib Selection Bar extension which means you can more easily switch to Vizlib Toolbar and get access to all those settings not available in Selection Bar. For example drop-downs, sliders, input fields and buttons configurable with all Vizlib Actions.
Added control on Custom Report updates
The new updates we have made to the Custom Report will allow you to specify which variables changes should force the Custom Report to update. This has many benefits, but an example use case for this would be to switch the language of the Custom Report.
Drill down on data with Vizlib Filter!
We’ve made it easier to clean and simplify dashboards, and made it possible for you to provide users with new ways of interacting with your dashboards.
To get started, set up a Viztip for a Vizlib Filter, and then use the Vizlib variables by including them in Expressions within various visualisations, such as a pie chart or bar chart. Then, when hovering over the Vizlib Filter, you can drill down with that dimension within those charts. Simple, but effective!
Improved group-related filtering
Using Association IDs and Qlik Sense logic, you can now filter values and display product groups and product lines as needed. This will allow you to highlight or hide data groups, depending on what you need!
New customization tools available
Did you know that you can control the font size row height in Finance Report? Set the font size and then adjust the vertical padding to one of the fixed sizes, or select a specific number of pixels.
Get on the fast track to Data Viz success. In this session, we’ll show you how to level-up your dashboarding skills and deliver the “WOW” – fast!
