Vizlib is growing fast! As we embark on an ambitious journey to develop the next generation of data cloud analytics, which plays the data where it lives, we’re excited to expand the board with world-class leadership and guidance.
We’re proud to announce the addition of a new board member, Anthony Deighton.
Anthony is currently the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Tamr Inc. Formerly the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Celonis and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Products at Qlik, he brings his experience in building and scaling analytics software businesses, as well as successfully directing product and business teams to Vizlib. And we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Beyond his vast experience in the sector, he also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Economics.
Here’s what our CEO, Martin Mahler, has to say about this exciting, new appointment:
Anthony and I have been in contact since Vizlib was founded in 2017 as a company delivering value-added products for Qlik. As Vizlib’s ambition grew to also serve customers outside of Qlik, I was extremely glad that Anthony shared our product vision and wanted to become part of our journey. His decision to join us validates our future strategy. With this additional help and guidance, I’m confident we will successfully embark on the next growth stage of our company and build the next generation of data cloud analytics, which plays the data where it lives.
And, Anthony shares his thoughts on the industry and Vizlib:
The data landscape has fundamentally changed. Organizations are moving their data to cloud data stores at a breathtaking pace. With data living natively in the cloud, a new approach for data visualization is needed. Vizlib has innovated world-class visualizations on Qlik, and now has the opportunity to bring this capability to cloud-native data stores and establish itself as the next generation leader in how organizations make meaning from data. I couldn’t be more excited to join the board.
Well, we can’t wait to explore new opportunities to grow Vizlib – together.
